Old me would never order a steak at a diner but just TRUST me on this ya'll! When the waiter recommended the steak scramble bowl at breakfast, I was like ummm sure if that's your favorite thing I kind of have to try it and I am SO glad I did! The steak bites were some of the best I've ever had. I don't know what they're doing over there but the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor! I picked up a delicious umami flavor, soy sauce maybe? And that paired perfectly with the creamy hollandaise sauce poured over top. I would definitely get that again. My husband liked his breakfast plate complete with a stack of pancakes. We'll definitely be back.

Dined here Friday morning of Memorial Day Weekend for breakfast. Restaurant was busy but was given a table quickly. It was six of us so we had a variety of food but I didn't get a picture of everything. I love how the kitchen is open and you can see the food being prepared and picked up by the waiters. I had pancakes, eggs, grits and bacon and enjoyed it all. My boyfriend had the steak bowl and it was delicious. My son enjoyed his waffle. My mom's chicken and waffles were banging. Metro Diner I will be back and next time I will indulge in a mimosas or two.

Was in the mood for some good American food and landed here! Lots of space in the inside. It's such a cute dinner in the inside! Staff were super welcoming and efficient! Our waiter was the bomb! He didn't miss a beat. The menu is simple and they serve breakfast all day!!! I had the chicken and waffles and you get a half of chicken. That's a steal for the price I paid. My food was hot and cooked well...everything but my waffle. It was a little too hard. I'll be back soon.

Imagine your favorite junk food elevated to a brunch worthy of your Sunday morning - that's exactly what this delightful spot is all about. A fair warning though - there's a wait time that might make you question your life choices, but patience is a virtue here. It pays off with a generous plate of comfort food, prepared with a twist that will make your taste buds do a double-take. The standout was the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict that my husband and I shared. It wasn't just good; it was a 'cancel all my plans, I need a moment to appreciate this' kind of good. A plate of happiness that makes you want to applaud the audacity of mixing classic brunch with feel-good, old-fashioned junk food. Their service didn't lag behind either. We were treated like treasured guests from the moment we stepped in until the time we (reluctantly) left. I'm offering this spot a solid four stars. Yes, the wait can test your patience, and no, it's not a five-star gourmet feast. But for a hearty, playful, and satisfying brunch that hits the spot with creativity and flavor? It's a winner. Pack your appetite and your sense of food adventure, and give it a go. Just be ready for a deliciously good time!
